Bought a 1-pound bag the first two times. Realizing I had already spent $40 on salt, I figured, time to get real and go for the 25 lb bag. Sure, it's gonna last for the next few years and people might look at you funny if you tell them what you're paying for salt but the way I think about it, I'm not paying for the salt. I'm paying for the entire set of elements and trace minerals in the salt. A cell's cytoplasm has a lot in common with seawater, on account that mitochondria used to be its own separate marine organism. It strikes me as a good thing to eat sea salt for that reason. The kicker is, it makes the food taste better too. Just, go ahead and buy the big bag. After you run out of your first pound at $20, you're gonna be kicking yourself. "I shoulda listened to that guy's review on the Internet and got the bigger bag but it seemed excessive at the time. Now I understand. Also, everybody's getting salt for Christmas!"
